I think that if you enter the dragon basement immediately after completing the reducto lesson, then you’ll appear back in the reducto classroom if you exit the dragon basement by returning to the leaky cauldron and then returning back to Hogwarts even when collecting anything in there.

It's worth noting that Tom Riddle, if you have him, both has dark magic and speaks parceltongue. I went down here before checking this video (couldn't figure out how to pass the grates) and was nervous when he said you needed Harry, but luckily I was already using Riddle in case there were dark objects, and I ended up fine.

5:26 Well, I learned that the hard way. At least I got the Student In Peril when I did. The red brick can be obtained by entering the Extra Hearts cheat. And yes, the bug is still happening, at least with the collection edition.

@@JorgeFloresVillavicencio If you missed the student in peril, then too bad. You have to restart if you want 100%. As for the red brick that was down there, then you can enter the cheat code for Extra Hearts which is J9U6Z9. Don't worry, this is one game that doesn't break achievements for using cheats.

Thank you! I noticed a barrel in the lower level of the right Charms Classroom, the one with floor claws and mechanical bulldogs. Once you get to that final area, by the big snake head, there's that barrel on the right. The light magic doesn't make the claws release the barrel, and there IS something in it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The weird thing is that when I got to 2:10 in my game, the student in peril was in the devil snare, I got him out, and he's still standing there like if he's still tangled. I have no idea what's going on.

3:30 damn it, I wanted to know what that plant barrel on the right does, the one in my game is inert, it has animations but it won't react to lumos, so I don't know if it's broken or if I've already done the thing or if it just doesn't do anything at all. I was able to free the open top barrel on the left but it's kind of useless.

Professor Quirrel (Voldemort), can do both parseltongue and dark magic (you don't need e.g. snape + potter)

You need to jump to the dragon and it will throw you out of the room :)

I am in that last charms room but I have Harry, Ron and Hermione with me and can’t get the red brick. I don’t want to leave in case I can’t get the red brick. Any ideas? EDIT: I’ve put the cheat code in for the red brick and I’ve come out of the dungeon. Just praying that I get the trophies!

MyHistorygirl It sounds like you are playing a game that doesn't have the current update. This was a major issue when the game released and was corrected with an update. It is quite possible your game is now stuck in that room. You might look into any cloud data you may have saved. We actually discuss this issue in the very beginning of the video. 00:50 or so. Hope you can update or possibly go back on some save data.

ok so im trying to get the girl token but im having a hard time. the internet say { how to get } There are four droopy candles dotted around this Charms classroom, two either side of the entrance and another two on the upper level. Hit all four of them with a spell to straighten them out and reveal the token. but im still missed it. can you help me out please

Playing the switch version. Just encountered a glitch with the left room where the trap door won’t reopen after completing the right room even though I’ve already used Reducto on the lock and have gone through it multiple times previously. I’ve looked all around the internet and seems like there’s no in-game fix. Considering I’m already about 80% on the game I think I’ll just have to take the L on this one...

We have heard of a major issue where you cannot leave the room, but I have not heard of any issues of not being able to return.. but it doesn't surprise me with how touchy the other issue is. Have you tried restarting your system to see if that corrects the issue?

That room can certainly be problematic. Some cannot get out, while some can't get in! Never for sure figured out why.. I am guessing a bug. Hopefully you got it sorted?

Couple things about PC.. first, is it all up to date with game patches/updates? Also, we have never experienced this, but often hear that lowering the graphics settings will help with situations like this. Honestly... no clue why? But it has helped quite a few people with issues like this. Let us know if either of these help and if not we will keep looking for a solution for ya!

Well as we mention in the video, there are some known issues with the 2 underground areas. I would double check to make sure your game is all up to date with patches/updates and then maybe try restarting your system and try again. Hope this helps!

You get Gold Bricks for rescuing Student in Perils.. which there was one in between Gold Brick 1 and Gold Brick 2. Hope that helps explain where that brick went/came from.

All good there was a little bit of a glitch in the count. It said 171 but the next brick I collected (in the next video) it went from 171 to 173 (the correct amount). If that makes sense. For some reason it didn't count the 172 for some reason and went straight to 173. I have now completed the game (for the first time) 100% thanks to your help! 😘😊
