Pre-release interviews implied they built it to work well on the Switch and then added stuff to make it prettier for the PS5 instead of the usual approach of making a game that struggles to hit 60 fps on a PS5 and then taking a butcher's knife to it

Yes it performs bad all of their games are graphics downgrade they look like ps3 games and all only run at 30fps with constant fps drops even in their exclusive games…

@@derrick.t4031 Hate blinds people. I was hoping that Nintendo was going to restore the Switches native clock speed before its end, but it doesn't seem likely now. That would give it twice it's current performance

Playing this in handheld mode means you're technically playing a Playstation game on a handheld without streaming AND on a physical media ... drunkly speaking, the Switch is the spiritual successor of the Vita ... even if just for one game :)
