I have a question would you recommend I get the original Horizon games before I get this one so I could understand the story in a way more or would buying the Lego game just be fine because somehow I’m interested in Horizon

This game actually tells the STORY in an easier shorter way to understand, so although you should check out the original Horizon game(s) for fun, it is in no way needed to play this series. The goal for this game was to bring in new people and share the story in a lighter more fun kinda way.

I like the visuals and the destructibles, like the creatures - but was very disappointed in the fact it has no open world and no replayability, until much later in the campaign; also, not much variety in each section (reentering each section to get to the next fight in the story). I am not very good at the fighting so wanted to replay older levels to gain more experience, but you cannot do that. I was playing on normal and could not level up or advance - because dying causes you to replay that level - so had to switch to easy to get past that boss fight. You do keep the experience you earn, but unless you finish a chapter or level, it is not very much.

Haven't purchase/played the game yet, however, it seems to have a lot of "sameness", I'll hold judgment 'till a later date. Good playthrough though Brian.

Honestly it is pretty simple at it's core. Fairly short, but beautiful, great humor and new way to experience the Horizon Zero Dawn story line. Only gripe is the price... AND I only say that as it is rather short to 100%. The quality of the game is on point.. just not a traditional chase down minikits kind of experience.
