A near flawless set really... only flaw is that it could be expanded with a small long boat, 2 chickens, and maybe a more civilian pose. This will pair up so nicely with the Lions Knight Castle as a raiding faction to plunder the royal bakery for its sumptuous sweet treats! Did you know Vikings had a sweet tooth? well, Hilda at the mortarn pestle is no match for the fine flour the mill produces for the finest cakes.

I don’t usually get sets without any license but at this price it’s amazing value. I could easily see Lego selling this for $200 and it would probably still sell. My only issue with the set is the lack of gimmicks/play features but as a display set with some play value, nothing really compares for the price.

Hey Ross! As someone who is an OG Zep fan from my Seventies childhod, and still proudly wear my ZOSO t-shirt regularly, MAD respect!!!❤ This is a great set review, not a surprise. Right about the boat! Bit of trivia, back in the '70's when I was in grade 4, we learned that the French explorers discovered Canada. Yet, the next year, the curriculum changed, and I saw school projects from the grade below that taught that the Vikings had settlements in Canada first. Also, between grade 3 & gd4, Canada switched from Imperial to metric. To this day, I still can't understand centimeter height and kg weight. "In the deepest depths of Mordor, I met a girl (Em) so fair, but Gollum and the Evil One crept up and slipped away with her! "😞

I want to say that I do not like this sort of a review where you show some part of the building for 3 seconds and then camera goes to you, for 5 seconds, then again building for 5 seconds etc. Just my opinion, when you are showing and describing what we see, I'd prefer to focus a little bit more on LEGO. Flawless example of generic lego. The question is, would you have actually paid money for that if you didn't receive it for free? I guess this is perfect for new lego adult collectors who don't have collections yet. EDIT: Strong dislike. I actually keep my instructions, and i absolutely hate the social building crap where you get a dozen tiny little barely above brochures for instructions rather than a real book with a solid bind. Get ipads if you have friends.
