LEGO ISLAND- The Script. Part 5: Garage, Dune Buggy, Tow Truck Mission

This next portion features another one of "the seven wonders of LEGO Island": namely the gas station, where the player meets Nubby and Nancy, builds a dune buggy (again assisted by Bill Ding), and takes the tow truck down to the race track to remove an overturned racecar. Included in this part of the script are Nubby's many spiels on the mysteries of life, along with all of his interactions with the different selectable characters at the garage. Also included are the obstacles the player runs into during the tow truck mission (such as that parrot who always decides to throw a roadblock in your face).

In case anyone was wondering, the mechanics are Bumpy Kindergreen (blue visor and stubble) and Jack O'Trades (sunglasses). Yes, Lego Island 2 messed up and gave the latter's name to one of the Flying Legandos.

@@sir.confident I listed which was which in my comment. There is a third mechanic seen walking around sometimes and waving the flag at the racetrack but I dont know if she has a name.

I thought Studs Lincoln drove the black #1 car. He said he had to finish the race and continued racing on a bicycle as if he drove the red #3 car that was wrecked instead.

God only knows the number of times I drove fast enough in an attempt to beat the trees that pop up. I wonder if anyone's ever done it successfully?
