The studs on the new thanos big fig's back is most likely for the scenes in both infinity war and endgame where the characters kick at his back and jump on him while attacking him. that way for recreating scenes from the movie, you can stick a character in a fighting/jumping pose on his back or grabbing at the gauntlet. The removeable head is probably for recreating his death when thor chops off his head, and for stop motion creators to start removing more pieces each frame of the thanos figure to make the snap scene from endgame.

I don't think studs are for scene recreation. I'm pretty sure it's for the future figs like Bane. He got attachment on his back so LEGO might do a new Bane which features something alike.

In my opinion I like the compound battle one, I just like the fact that he has blue eyes and I love the arm printing. It just reminded me of Thanos. The new one is the most accurate but I like the compound battle one the best
