The 5 year jump was after they killed the original Thanos at the beginning of Endgame. They killed him shortly after the snap. If you mean when they brought everyone back, they weren't exactly "waiting". They literally had no way to do it since Thanos destroyed the stones. The reason Scott survived the Snap is because he's in the quantum realm. If he wasn't in there, he would've been snapped away too. Dr. Strange knew he was about to enter the Quantum Realm, so he ended the battle of Titan by surrendering the Time Stone to make sure Scott is inside the Quantum Realm when Thanos snapped his fingers.

Its because the suit was connected to his nervous system because he controlled the spider arm/leg according to the comics with his brain since he couldn't tell friday or whatever AI it was to move each and every spider arm/leg but Tony after he got rid of his tech heart in Iron Man 3 he didn't have a physical connection to his iron suit so thats why Peter had his suit disappear in Infinity War but in this Tony didn't, they probably just forgot but I have a reason why it could make sense so just saying
