These sets are absolutely amazing! The figs are so detailed, the Deviants look cool, and the Celestial looks like it going to be a monster of a Lego build! That set is definitely the one I'm looking forward to getting the most. I can't wait to get these sets.

Considering the hidden side mech had a Promare reference, one of Lloyd's more recent mechs looking like a Gundam, and Zane's legacy mech looking like a gunmen from Gurren Lagaan I wouldn't be surprised if we get a mech that's actually based on an eva soon.

@@RamielDerLinke i dont think we are going to get an official Lego Eva set. The series is not for kid, look how difficult it was to get Punisher and Daredevil on a set, they are somewhat mature but still appear on kids cartoons and even then lego didnt want to make them.

@@emilianoortiz8795 I guess we'll have to see in which direction Lego is gonna go in the next few years. We're already noticing that Lego is making more and more sets that are for adults in the 18+ line. So it wouldn't surprise me to be honest, if Lego will eventually make sets based on movies, shows or Games that are for teens and adults. Maybe not splatter movies like Saw but shows and movies that are just a bit more brutal. And Evangelion isn't just for adults. If Lego made sets based on it in the 18+ line, I don't really see the problem. They don't have to make a detailed model based on the MP Eva's that kill unit 02 in EoE but just making big models based on the Evas isn't that unlikely by concept. On the other hand, Evangelion is definitely not as popular as Star Wars, Marvel or Minecraft. So the possibility of getting sets based on it is quite low because of that. But more popular anime like Naruto, One Piece or Dragon Ball are also more likely to be made into Lego Sets at some point. I mean, we also got sets based on Overwatch and if somebody had told me one year before that, that we would get Lego Overwatch sets, I definitely wouldn't have believed that person.

@@RamielDerLinke One Piece and Dragon Ball are considered inappropriate on LEGO Ideas and so is NGE but Cowboy Bebop isn't so what LEGO would make anime wise is just confusing. With how many people collect anime figures and mecha models I wouldn't be surprised if LEGO manages to stumble into that market someday.
