I remember playing this back on Xbox 360 when I was still young, I would drive around all the time, play splitscreen, and glitch the whole game. I learned there was an 8th gen version for the game a few months ago and I can't believe it's on Switch now. Amazing game.

The 3DS one has much more polygons, much more detail and runs at more than twice the resolution than the DS, of course to be expected since the 3DS is much more powerful.

There was also a mobile version for phones. I remember specifically that you could get an alternate version of the Juggernaut in that game. It was just Lego Marvel Superhero’s with less open world, but more characters and more abilities.

Yeah, they are a lot better. To be honest, I've played all of these handheld LEGO games on my Vita (it's the same as 3DS) and LEGO Marvel is the worst one of them. I'm pretty sure you'll find enjoyment in LEGO Avengers or LEGO Batman 3. These were the best in my opinion.

at the time I was playing on a Nintendo 3DS too, when I started playing the game I liked it because I didn't know what it was like on console... but when I found out I was pretty sad. anyway, at the time (when I was 10, so we're talking about 2015) I was obsessed with dinosaurs, Jurassic Park, Jurassic World and so on so I absolutely wanted to buy the Lego Jurassic World game which looked wonderful from the gameplay that I watched on KZbin, too bad I bought the “silly” version for my Nintendo 3DS, unaware of the fact that, of course, the game I was seeing on gameplay was on consoles and on my Nintendo 3DS it would suck… I eventually bought the Xbox 360, and my first game there was Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, I loved it because I played the first two games on the Nintendo and it was all so different... the good old days, more or less... by the way, I bought the deluxe version of Lego DC Super-Villains recently and I'm looking forward to my package arriving.

@@alexgood6409I got the 3ds version of marvel superheroes, I didn’t even know the console versions existed so I just thought, “wow, this is just an okay game” 2 years later I see my cousins have it on their xbox one and I’m all like, “WHAT!!” Same thing happened with lego batman 2. I was shocked, the console versions are good. Got them for my nintendo switch and I had a blast.

I remember playing it on the ds it was so much fun and the fact you get game over if one character loses 4 hearts was new to me in other lego games you normaly just come back and it was the first lego game that was hard too me

Some Lego games for the Vita was somewhat ok but Lego Marvel Super Heroes and The Lego Movie Videogame was absolute trash. I hated the fact that these Lego games for the Vita are the mobile versions but it's cool to see that they're not doing that with the Switch.

I used to play this Game on the Mac mini mid 2011. it ran pretty good considering it had 2gb ram. I had fun playing this game free roaming around the city.

What about the Wii U version? There are exclusive Gamepad features for that port. If the graphics aren’t far off from Switch it could be the one to get if you don’t care about higher resolutions and better loading times.

You know what I find sad? The difference between the dc and marvel lego games on ds. Dc lego games were just like their home console counterparts, just with massive graphic downgrades, while the only lego marvel game on here went for a severe downgrade in both graphics and gameplay.

Excellent work man. Just an observation, you need to place the Frame Test at least for the switch, ps4 pro and pc versions, I would like to see how many fps they go, because I want to buy the game for the PS5 and I wanted to know if it manages to reach 60fps.

@@Fakaa45 Yes, there is no doubt about that, the ps5 can easily move the game to 60fps, but the detail is that the developer has limited the frame rate to 30fps because it remembers that the game is running in backward compatibility mode and if the ps4 version it's limited to 30fps on ps5 too, unless an update is released.
