I have to say the lack of leg printing on the cyclops to me is far more frustrating than the rogue hair piece. The rogue hair piece at least had the white printing and is a fine (if very basic) representation for the character. The cyclops mini figure just looks so plain and the blue is really oversaturated, especially considering the blue and yellow dual molded legs are often used for swimming costumes and could easily be reused somewhere else

Just take those legs you mentioned, give it a yellow hip piece, boom, billion times better, at least in my opinion.

I kind of wish the X jet was bigger. If it was bigger, you could justify the price AND they could have added extra components like an opening panel on the bottom of the xjet for the characters to exit. As well as make the seating cabin wider with more seats and more characters to be included in the set.

Magneto’s outfit is the one he wears when he joins the X-men after Professor X leaves. That’s why he no longer needs the helmet but yeah not my favorite Magneto outfit.

I honestly think rogue’s hair being more like comic rogue is fine because that’s really the only difference between comic rogue and show rogue. This set looks cool and I’m happy X-men 97 gives Lego an excuse to finally do more comic book style X-men sets but that price is insane. Hopefully we get more sets for this line that are better priced. Also getting;g trial of magneto outfit rocks

I feel like they could have fixed the magneto design by making his torso and legs black and used magenta as highlights to match the cartoon style more, or even just add dark brownish purple colour to get more depth

I'm so conflicted cause I really want this set as an X-Men fanboy, it has my favourite Cyclops outfit and finally a Rogue. But I hate we're getting Wolverine and Magneto again, especially with a downgraded Wolverine. Cyclops is massively disappointing cause of the leg printing (lack of), the price is crazy, and I would rather not buy it, but I have no idea what the X-Mansion is supposed to include, and if any of these guys will get glow ups.

To justify the price, they shouldve either put more minifigures or a sentinel in the set. Been hoping to see a mystique, apocalypse, or mister sinister minifigure. Alas, Lego hates making minifigs for villains that have never gotten one yet. When will they give us stuff that fans truly want?

Lego X Jet is less expensive than the Hoopty and a better set overall (plus an extra mini figure). I remember Magneto wearing the pink (or magenta) costume more from the comic books than from the show.

I'm a huge X-men and lego fan, and I don't think I'll buy this unless it's 50% off or more. This being more expensive than the old one and not having a sentinel is just a massive L. I would want it if it was more akin to the recent quintet in size, and actually be able to fit mini figures inside standing up, and have the boarding ramp. The mini figs being lackluster is the kicker, I just don't understand this set.

I get the idea of putting Rogue in the CMF intrad of Wolverine for a more detailed Rogue, but that means we would've gotten a far inferior Wolverine and he is the more popular character. Id much rather have a detailed Wolverine over Rogue. But they shouldn't have added Logan in this set and instead put in Jean or Gambit

Rogues hair is very accurate for ‘97. If you want the design from the original show you’d be right about the other hair piece but this is accurate to ‘97

I've gotten used to Rogue's hairpiece by now, since her hair is shorter in 97. I loved her big frizzy hair in the original series, but a LEGO minifigure of a Superhero with an unorthodox hair mold is better than no minifigure at all.

You have the stud container held wrong. The pieces with the little holes are side pieces. Place it so they are on top. Won't fall out again.

Bought the set last week and built it last night. Super cool wish it had other X-men in the box. I had some left over styrofoam and carved it out to fit the X-jet. I put it back in the box so it can be a collectible on the shelf. If you have the cash I recommend it.

I have the original X-Jet set and while I think it's superior in to this set I think the Blackbird design in this set looks just a bit better and more accurate. The figures are nice designs although I think one of the figure *cough, cough* Wolverine could have been some else like I dunno Gambit. While this set has some pretty decent figures and a good build I still don't think it's quite worth the price so I probably will be wait until the set goes on sale before I would buy it.

Boy just as I was thinking Im finally off the LEGO hold... X-MEN COME IN! But I'm somewhat disappointed - Wolverine's minifig is not amazing, and I would have preferred to have the original Magneto with helmet. Rogue & Cyclops are spot on!

I used my points to get this but after this review hearing that there’s an x mansion coming out with all these figures I’m having buyers remorse. I have the other X-jet and I’m pretty sure that had more seats as well. It’s stores right now so I’m not too sure.

The figures being in the X-Mansion is just a theory going off what happened with the Quinjet. So nothing confirmed yet. But if you wait until then, the Jet will be on sale by then anyways if someone is exclusive here.

This set is literally AS expensive as the avengers quin jet which has 1 extra mini figure AND almost DOUBLE THE PIECES! Ok i get it this is for commercial mass sale...but u can totally make it more upto scale by disconnecting the mid section after the second cockpit and add a bit wider multi seater cabin or cargo bay where the other members can sit...i mean its a 2024 set n still lacks retractable landing gears and can only fit 4 figs....design n decals are amazing buttttt still short off the mark. 🎉

Also besides the price the only thing I dislike is that we got another wolverine instead of someone like Jean or gambit who haven't been in a Lego set at all I think. As we saw in the video we already got a wolverine so why make a worst version instead of different character

It's weird because usually Lego is cheaper in the US compared to Australia but I compared the prices and the Australian price is $100 AUD which equals about $68 USD so I'm very confused on why there is such a big price increase in the US.

Is the cowl painted better? The CMF wolverine cowl has awful black overspray towards the nose on all 3 I have. Also show accuracy is not a reason for a worse fig especially cus accuracy only matters to Lego when it’s convenient/cheaper for them (shown with rouge)

The X-Men are my favorite superhero thing ever, and I have the original X-Jet. It’s an awesome set and this set looks to be an improvement, but I cannot justify buying it at this price. It is just outrageous. I’m going to wait for it to go on sale for around $60. People talk about Star Wars being overpriced, but right now, I think Marvel is far worse. Also, why did we include Wolverine. We do not need him in another set. Why not Gambit, or Jean Grey, or Jubilee, Morph, Bishop, or even Sunspot. I am tired of all of these Logan’s. The CMF figure was great, we don’t need a new inferior Logan. Finally, the original Scott was not Astonishing X-Men. It was the out fit he wore in the 70s and early 80s. He very iconically wore it in the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Saga.
