It’s ridiculous that LEGO hasn’t given us more Simpsons sets. I know they received a lot of backlash when they released the sets, but now that they have the 18+ line, this should be easy to do. Also, great work Brick Cucumber, you’re extremely talented.

The Simpsons is very family friendly. Most episodes are rated PG, it’s not as inappropriate as Family Guy or South Park. Plus Disney has already branded The Simpsons in with Disney stuff before.

My hopes with Disney announcing their ownership way back when of The Simpsons was that the brand would be pushed back into mainstream merchandise. I adore the LEGO sets so much and the CMF series were incredible for fans of the show. I wanted deep cuts of characters we shouldn't have even considered we could get in LEGO form. Amazed they released 2 series total but disappointed we never saw characters like Skinner, Moe, Wolfcastle, Quimby, Duffman, Sideshow Mel, Lindsey Naegle and more. Sad to see my hopes for more Simpsons merchandise in the form of my favourite toy brand may not come true.

I love how Brick Cucumber designed the alternative appearances for Homer, Lisa, Bart and Marge based off their respective moments. It's like I'm playing The Simpsons Hit and Run again because those variants also appeared there!

How I would dearly love more Lego Simpsons but I would be so gutted if we got one more wave and this was it. There are so many core Simpsons characters we never got, Take your pick the bar, the power plant, the school, the church, the flanders which ever way you look major characters are missing. I know they would want to include the family but if they did another series maybe they could just do a homer and bart variant of some sort in the cmf's and do a cheap set like the car or couch that included an everyday version of the core family.

IMO, the only way we would ever get a Moe fig, is if LEGO did a version of "Uncle Moe" from "Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag". Ditto for a set of the 'bar'. I think we'd only see Barney if it was "sober Barney", and even that would be a stretch. It's really stupid how LEGO applies their "morals" though. Can't have a Moe's Tavern, "cuz it's a BAR!", yet it's perfectly okay to have the Star Wars Cantina...in UCS/Master Builder scale, no less...even though it too is...*gasp...a BAR!
