Thanks Jang. I had no idea this set even existed. The pearl gold is a much better tone than the funky greens in last year's sets I think. From what I can tell, the 2018 bad guys don't have any impressive vehicles which is a shame. If 2018 is indeed the end of the Nexo line it's going out in a very weak way. It feels like Monstrox is well and truly on the losing side and the Knights are mopping up what remains of the evil army which I presume has hidden among the Knights and is corrupting their computer systems. A Merlok vs Monstrox cyber duel seems inevitable.

Mechception! I'm a sucker for these. Well, for most mechs anyway. The "mini vehicle within the mech" design just tickles my fancy more so.

I like that they have saved the gold and are now giving them it for Y3, rather than giving them gold all at once in Y1 or Y2. Makes it feel like the Knights have grown.

Looks like there's another wave of Nexo Knights coming out! I don't collect these, but they still look quite nice, all these transparent colors are very unique, you don't see them in other Lego themes very much.

A shield of that size would be called a buckler. They are used for parrying rather than blocking.

If you simply exchange the, by the manual, shoulder to arm connecting joints with one another you can get much nicer arm articulation. I honestly have no idea what happened here and why neither the box nor the manual say that the little robot pedestal can attach to the back of the robot or that you can put the holocrons inside the cockpit.

SImply because it has a minifig in a robot, in a giant robot, I am likely going to buy this set the moment I see it in stores, or, at minimum, find the instructions online.

Brickbob Legopants Animation Studio's you forgot something. Ninjago had the stone army with evil overlord. Nexo knight later had a stone army as well. And in their next seasons, the overlords, previously thought to be defeated, return as a digital screen taking over technology.

Nice set (and review like always). The year1 King's Mech is still the best in my opinion but this one is interesting, and different. All the gold recolor (sword, shield, battlesuit torso) are glorious. It's interesting the way they've made the crotch with the same design that the battlesuit feets to blend them more efficiently. Too bad that Clay don't come with the new 2018 armor (but this is kind of ok since we have the gold BS instead).

Now it's up to Clay, Jestro and their friends to stop Tech Infection, while at the same time, Clay learns his origin story

I think that this set is messy. Lego was just going for too much. The set is clashing with its parts. The side build is nice, though. I really like the colour scheme for the villains in this wave. That is just my opinion.
