Nice, an early 2024 set review! Honestly, this is the only set I’m getting this wave & I’m gonna get the Zane minifigure on BrickLink later. I’m not making that mistake again I made with Crystalized where I bought an entire set just for the Zane, Jay, & Crystal King minifigures. I really like that this set uses the model joints instead of the pre bent sccbs pieces introduced for Ninjago Core. I also really like the new 1 piece mask parts. It reminds me a lot the style of masks from Possession to Hands of Time. Definitely an improvement over the ones we’ve been getting for previous years like Crystalized & Forbidden Spinjitzu.

This is probably the best 10$ Ninjago set ever 4 minifigures (and not so basic ones) And a pretty good mech that reminds me of turaga from Bionicle It's fanstastic Value

Honestly for the Price, I’d probably buy two of these for the mech alone, I just love those mixel ball joints, it sucked when the switch was made around 2021, Glad the pieces returned 😄

the wave is called "dragons risings" but there are more mechs lol. It seems to me that Lego is now making a lot of mechs in different series in order to bring back the bionicle experience, because they have recently begun to produce a lot of special parts to facilitate the construction of movable models, they are also bringing back a little of those parts that Lego used to use in action figures (for example , this Jay mech has ccbs shoulder pads, and some of the dreamzz creatures use ccbs star wars shoulder pads as their heads). And I think if Lego brings back the Bionicles in 2025, the overall mecha theme will be lessened and Ninjago will have more dragons and buildings again. What about the new wave of ninjago, I think that LEGO has recently begun to devalue villains, making them uncharismatic. After all, if before the villains had a lot of cool vehicles and I liked them even more than the heroes, now these are some pathetic homeless people who are going to confront big ninja equipment, and they have neither their own fortress, nor transport, nothing, this is very stupid. Also, these villains, to me, look very mediocre and without particularly attractive detailing, they are completely blue, without clear outlines so that they can be easily recognized. Also, I don't understand why Lego hasn't made these sccbs bones movable yet? They do a good job, but it's annoying that Lego decided to stay at the Toa-Mata level and left it that way. Why are robot Jay's limbs so short and why didn't they use those same limbs? And the new nexo cabin itself is annoying because the arms are moved too far back, and it looks very ugly.
