Ideally, I think these small mechs should have fixed knees and articulated elbows. Fixed joints are great for keeping a build stable, but for arm movement, they're way too restrictive. At least it's nothing a few modifications can't fix.

Got this during the Bionicle promo event, honestly such a strong small mech set in the new format. Probably my favorite of the three I have. It's got a great presence and feels like it can fly with no issue. The choice of parts for it are super strong and I'm just very satisfied for this set, especially for the price you pay. The enemy mech might be on the weaker end, but I feel like the main golden mech more than makes up for it.

Flipping that back piece instantly makes it look smoother. Two smaller weapons are a better option for the skeleton merch. Good for kids.

I find it very good, just the nexo knight shield parts need some fixing. Besides that I find it likable. I‘d add hands to the bone warrior so it can swing its scythe.

I cannabalized my llyod mech to give hands to the skull mech, and replace the ratchet joints on Cole's dragon from this wave

I really wish they managed to actually engineer those angled joint plates to actually be click joints - I saw in rough drafts that it was the original plan to make those bendable and it'd be amazing if they managed to make it work...

A shame the arms are so limited despite being on ball joints. Other than that, it’s a good set.

It 100% looks better with the weapon separated into two, like it's wielding 2 scythes, which suits the skeleton vibe (reminds me of a mechanical Death).

If you’re not aware, the designer of this mech/figure modular system calls it SCCBS or something, inspired by CCBS. Ben Cossy did a good video on it, and apparently the creator published some design notes on Twitter...so this is the Bionicle reboot for the new generation

This set would benefit from just putting mixels joints for wrists, it would only take 4-6 pieces.

Honestly Jang I like your reviews they are informative and relaxing also your opinions are unbiased as you buy the Lego yourself. It helps me as I'm someone who wants to know what Lego is good value and great build wise as I have not had friends for a year and to cope with my Liver Failure Lego is my escape.

Looks goods value, when compared that the newest marvel mechs price increased, and now are €15, and this is €20. And then 71783: Kai's Mech Rider EVO looks quite overpriced at €45 , when you can have 2 mechs and a 4+ bike for €30 if you get the lloyd set.
