Great idea, could you consider Western theme next? Especially that some sets are coming from BDP (general store, in some time a western train kicks off with funding).. could be nice to learn some creative ways of building cowboys, soldiers and natives from what lego offers

Actually I already have a lot of Western figs, with my Salloon MOC still in boxes. It will probably be displayed a couple more times, so I was thinking about making a CMF from that, when I take the MOC apart. 🤠

There is a reason why so many people love minifigures of Islanders and Indians. Lego put a lot of effort and details into them, and their design is very good. They even had leg printing which pirates and cowboys minifigures didnt have. Lego should def bring them back. Politicall correctness is a virus.

What I mean about a Ninja series is a Ninja Assassin, a samurai warrior, a sensie, a japanese emperor, a japanese princess, a kabuki girl, a ronin hero, an oni, a dragon warrior, a chinese emperor, a xailon monk and lastly a chinese archer.

Love how your serries looks, however ... one note. The factions, you missed a slight detail on that. The Pirates and islanders were one faction, however the Imperials were 3 separate factions, the redcoats - I would presume british, bluecoats - french maybe,, and the spanish armada guys from 1997 if I remember right. I see you made 2 red 2 blue ones, however you should have had 2 spanish armada guys as well instead of 4 islanders - for completion if nothing else xD. Still, GREAT work! Love what you are doing

Ah yes, there where the spanish. I remember owning one of those, fig I think. Maybe They'll be in the second pirate series some day 😅 The girls head is from Monster Fighters. And as for the forestmen color swap - I agree. We need a set with blue, red and black hands and details... and a lot lot more other castle/pirates things to be honest 😉

@@CubeBrick I think the DnD craze will have us well covered. Given how enthusiastic people are about the series in september, LEGO is sure to make at least a second series of them soon. Hopefully some random sets (small and medium ones). But the dream is there that they will make some more remakes (I am still pinning for Dragon Masters and Black Knights - and those needed dragon plume remakes).

I doubt they will ever make the dragon flumes again, but any of the dragon factions would be a perfect choice. And yes, the DnD series will be a source for many great pieces

@@CubeBrick I will dare to dream they will do a remake of the Black Knight's Castle (the one on the raised baseplate). At the very least in 2032 if not sooner, for the 100 years celebration. I do hope they will make them sooner, a remake for all the 90s factions to some capacity. It would be a shame to have only the Lions, Falcons and forestmen. Oh , and wolfpack.

It is a shame LEGO isn't making your CMF series'. It is also a shame there isn't some way you could offer these unique creations of yours for sale either. Obviously, you couldn't use the box art for copyright reasons, but would it be illegal to produce a "Cube Brick" series of CMFs? If you didn't use the LEGO logo and made it look clearly NOT an official LEGO product, I can't see how LEGO could legally complain. The idea of reselling LEGO isn't a new one, nor is the idea of collectible series of items. It would be cool to be able to buy Cube Brick CMFs!

The problem is, that many part's I'm using are unique ones, or at least hgard to come by. When Lego is producing their own serier, they make a lot of new molds, or just recolor the parts they have. I unfortunately don't have that possibility. But yeah, it would be cool for sure. Maybe, they will see these vids, and hire me to be a CMF specialist 😂

Not to try and push you into a custom minifig business, but I can think of a couple of ways around that. 1) substitute more common elements for the rare and/or expensive ones, 2) work with one of the custom minifig companies to get them to print pieces not available. In the second option, you wouldn't be able to copy a rare LEGO torso print for example, but you could design your own "equivalent" torso and have that printed on blank torsos instead. Still a LEGO element, but with your own custom printing. Again though, while either of these options are technically POSSIBLE, I don't know if they are viable or even appealing to you. Not everyone wants to become an entrepreneur. Either way, plausible or not, it would be cool to see your fig collections available for purchase.

I barely have time for building and making these videos, running a BL store, having a full time job, and not to mention taking care of my family, so any form of a custom fig business is out of the picture for now. Not saying I'll never get to it, but for now it would be rather impossible. But I appreciate you either way 😉
