This is super awesome, I love this! Apologies, I've written an essay here :) I'm trying to figure out how the physics behind a motor like this work. I know if it was just two pistons, nothing would happen, it would be like pushing on both sides of a lever, the air would push on both pistons equally. I think the trick is the valve piston things on the sides (I don't know what they're called) let air out at the correct moments to make the air push on the correct valve more. Only one valve is open at a time, so the air goes that way, but there's a piston there too, so it gets pushed out of the way more than the other one does. Once that piston is pushed down, the valve closes and the other opens, redirecting the air towards the other piston. If my guess is correct, does that mean that this design doesn't work for any other number of pistons? It looks that way, but, based on what little I know about car engines, that seems wrong. (Though, car engines use little gas-powered explosions to push the pistons, which aren't all in the same direction, so the design is different than this one.) I understand most of the specs in the description except for the primary and secondary engine balance. I would guess they refer to how stable the engine is, but I don't know the difference between the two. Super cool stuff, I'm going to go watch the latest video, which has... three cylinders? Clearly my understanding is wrong, I'll have to figure that out.
