I used to love to flip through model railroad catalogues, Walther's I believe was the big book I enjoyed looking through. Lego is definitely a fantastic style of model railroading - especially since you can make virtually anything. Fantastic stuff

I've found more inspiration from model railroading stuff than anything lately. Gonna try and lean that way with this display.

Absolutely amazing Daryl!! The outside looks identical to the pictures, and the interiors are well thought out and executed. The stairs to the basement are a nice touch. Nice tip with the box cutter, trimming a little off to stop pinching the wires.

That, my good man, is a beautiful building. Checking out the model train setups is a fantastic idea. I have always admired the H0 scale railways. I also like the new format of smaller buildings, as many of us cannot afford to build extremely large and expensive buildings. You also have more time to explain the concept and execution of the design. A person could add a whole new area to a city, an industrial area. May be a lumber yard, welding shop, boat shop, etc. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks.😍🇨🇦

Thanks so much. To me that's a big thing missing to most Lego cities is industrial buildings. Being someone that has worked in production and construction most my life they are must have buildings.

Wow another fantastic build. This really looks exactly like the HO building kit and building you modeled it after. Again your attention to detail is 2nd to none and this build is a great example of that. Perfect build also for your barn door design as they look absolutely perfect on this build. Also your lighting always adds another dimension to your builds and adds so much life to the build. Can't wait to see this added to your city. I will definitely have to pick up the build instructions from your web site. Awesome job as always buddy.

Daryl, I just purchased your MOC. Could you double check parts inventory on rebrickable? I think everything is showing as x2. For example in your PDF it shows qty 510 of the dark orange masonry bricks, but on rebrickable it shows twice that, a whopping 1020! The total parts inventory on rebrickable shows as 4244 but I suspect it's actually half. Thanks buddy.

Oh hey, I recently got ahold of instructions for this Modular Hospital building that some chinese group stole from LEGO!!! Which is why btw that LEGO didn't release the Hospital this year! Same with the Liebherr 1300 crane thing, those designs got stolen as well by a chinese group and now they are selling it using their blocks!!!! But anyways yeah, I got the [originally] LEGO Modular Hospital design instructions. But i'm gonna have to go through it in order to get the parts list as there is no official parts list at the end yet, just the build instrucitons and the pieces per step! Let me know if you want it Daryl, i got you!

@BevinsBricks Жыл бұрын
You obviously don't look at most of my builds then as this is the first one in a long time I didn't include one in. The reality is interiors don't need detail at all as to do full interior it doubles the cost of a building and they are never seen when closed. But add to that with small builds like this it's a waste of space that other more interesting details can be added.
