You need to save a section of that wallpaper and frame it. To pay respect for the ghosts of past

I love looking at houses and seeing the stages they went through. That flooring is hilarious and that wild west wallpaper reminds me of a room in an old house I lived in as a kid. Can't wait to see this come along. If you wanted to put a table in front of that wall with the access you could make a modular (magic word) table so that a section or sections could be scooted out if needed.

I just love hearing from Americans “this house is really really really old, almost 115 years old” as I sit in my house built over 2 centuries ago. I dunno. I just think it’s weird how due to Americas shorter overall “lifespan” what seems almost ancient by comparison is nothing to someone from Europe. Anyway it’s lovely to see the Lego Channel making a return, I only found it a few weeks before you began the moving process originally, so it’s great to see it making a comeback!

I've got a friend from Germany I met online, he's got a bit of castle ruins literally in his back yard, it was like a club house for them as kids. You can take comfort knowing us Americans get like 800% jealous of the cool historic buildings you just kinda get to live in and around. We've got ancient stuff over here in the states here too though! It's just... native American... stuff. Yeah... :

The Great Saxtonian Its not just the age of country to consider, it’s also the region, Ive lived in towns on the east coast where its not unusual for regular people to own homes dating to the colonial period, but the west coast is much different, the area is much younger, 115 is very old for a west coast home, the territory had become a state only 20 years before.

I think it’s not the lifespan of the American people, but a combination of how young our country is relatively speaking and consumerism

I’m also in favor of getting rid of that wall if possible. An industry professional should be able to inspect it and tell you if it’s load-bearing I would think.

Before one buildeth the Lego, one must buildeth their dwelling space. But yeah - definitely lose the wall if you can substitute it for a pillar or something. Awkward space otherwise.

This has to be the like 4th time I've rewatched this little sequence of vids building the room. Something so satisfying about the set up of a space, or an endeavor such as this. Have to have watched the maker space set of creation vids about 10 times now. Its like the lore behind the ethos of the channel or something.

Any chance of putting the tables on some heavy casters? Might help, moving the tables over to access the side you need at the time. Just a thought.

Before opening those walls check the roof for toilet/sink vent pipes coming up through. Might let you know what's in there

The bathroom was added onto a completely different part of the house after the house was built. There is no way any of the plumbing runs up that way. But thanks for the warning. :)

Cool. I dream of a having a Lego room. I have a 6x8 shed that i need to try to get all my nerf and lego in. Only thing is, i hate the way Americans call them Legos (sorry but i do) A friend of mine wanted to publish abook of her paintings of minifigures and Lego said thats fine but you must never ever refer to them as Legos. But I get that its a cultural thing..
