Not too big on this set but I will be tracking a few city sets. The trailer truck with formula one cars was the first set to sell out in the new releases. Something for you and DG to keep an eye on.

It looks fun! However, I'd be cautious with something like this. If you look at the Buzz Lightyear 76832 XL-15 Spaceship its done nothing, and I think its gorgeous. I do have some of the City Space theme sets for personal with no thoughts toward investing.

Did you get any of the paladin Dragonborn minifigs from the dungeons and dragons CMF? I found 4 yesterday at target and was so happy to not have to pay $15 on eBay

I don't generally invest in City... except for learning, some construction and a plane. That said I'm watching this emerging theme closely. The Modular nature of this craft and the space station could be a potential winner if not horded.

Will get one for me. Beyond that…I kinda went a little silly on the little $30 “fighter” so I’m not sure I’ll drop any major coin on stock of a larger model like this with all the other themes available to invest in… But this is a pretty cool looking set/comcept.

I love city sets myself but I’m more inclined on the store exclusive one if I wanted to buy for investing but normally I do not invest in city. I love the builds though

Yes, I like some City sets but not for investing. The older space sets you showed from 2011 and not making much profit. It would be madness to hold space City sets for 14 years!!!!

My first thought when I saw it was a cool ship! Then the price made me say why? There are no licensing fees so why the high price? Should have been $50 and at $80 i don't think that leaves any room to go past retail in retirement. This looks like one you hope to get at a really good discount and then sell to those that missed it and now want it in retirement at close to retail price. How does parents even buy Lego toys for their kinds at almost $90 after tax? My final thought is pass unless i get it at 50% discount so i have plenty of room to sell for less then retail if need be.

I do love some of the city sets. I wouldn't invest in them. I hate the construction city sets that have more females than males that my boy plays with and not my girl
