Nice little idea for parking the motorcycle. You can also use a 2x2 jumper plate under the bike for stability anywhere. Use matching color of where it stands like dark gray for road plates.

But I believe you will need an additional stud to connect the jumper to the bottom of the bike. That's why I went with the modified brick in the wall to maintain the clean look of the floor. Thanks!

@@SmallBrickCity not at all. The bike will fit right on to the jumper plate and will not raise the bike. Its wheels will still touch the ground as if it didnt have a jumper plate.

Great build. Very easy to see that the building is police related. It even has a big blue sign with a P to indicate Police. Nice touch! In my city I have seen some very small police posts, they would be maybe 4x6 in size or something, more like an observation booth maybe.

Yep! It's still a really excellent and highly efficient police post you've made SBC! For a building built on a 32x16 baseplate, it features a great, imposing old-fashioned look and a fully decked-out interior with all of the proper rooms and equipment. It's pretty funny how you have a drunken sailor in the cell and a wanted poster of the Joker as he causally walks in with pastries! 😂 I like the differences in colouring and texture of the baseplates, plus it's quite clever how there's a clip for the motorcycle to be attached to keep it standing! It's good the squad car can fit on the layed out parking space, and if possible it could extended out by a few studs to allow a truck to be parked (too). I'd love to make this to have a small police station in a city, or customize it to create a bank or launder mat- I think the building alone has potential to be used as a police post and more! =)

Thanks a lot! I agree the building lends itself to other government-type buildings. I actually think I will do a post office next, maybe a reMOC of a classic set.

@@sonicelectro47 It will either be 16 x 32 or 16 x 16. Again, it will not be a central post office, more like a neighbourhood one. It depends on what space I have in Metro City. If I have the space, I would do 16 x 32 so I can have a lot for the postmen bicycles and scooters.

@@SmallBrickCity Ok then 👍 As a suggestion, I'd say make it as a 16x16, if there's not enough space in your Metro City, but you could have the bicycles/scooters parked in front just outside. If you DO have room for a 16x32, the post office could sit in the middle with an exit on one/either side where the bikes can be parked. Good luck with your post office! I'm looking forward to how it'll go =)

@@SmallBrickCity Lets just say I was a veteran of both being in the Army and a visiting the drunk tank more times that I'd like to talk about. That was many moons ago and no longer drink for various reasons. I have tons more disposable income to spend on Lego now days. :)
