Whilst the new jango fett minifigs are more accurate and I really love them- I’d say in my opinion I prefer this jango fett and think it’s better purely due to the nostalgia and simplistic design and gives major complete saga vibes

It's so fun to see how much Lego evolves it's builds, just look at all of the slave 1s and that is like the best evolution pictures ever it's even better than the evolution of humans lol

BrickPicture Productions yeah, curves have gotten smoother, edges are sharper, and overall shaping gets more accurate every rebuild

I remember seeing this in the Visual Dictionary and being struck at how modern Jango's Slave 1 looked by 2002 Lego standards. Maybe I'm wrong and have an unfair idea of how simple 2002 sets looked, but those side mounted shoulder shells and the general shaping of it was honestly not that much different from the later 2006 model, which also looks quite good.

I had this set as a kid. I remember not liking the looks of it on the package, but actually building and playing with it was amazing. So many great play features. They find tons of ways to put features in the Slave 1 sets. Thanks for the review!

Probably the most valuable and special Slave 1 sets. Every single Green Slave 1 update renders the previous Green Slave 1 update out of date. This Slave 1 is the only Blue/Silver Slave 1 we have to date.

Lego Boba Fett I made an assumption, but knowing that the piece was originally designed for the old LEGO sets that had Johnny Thunder in them (I forgot if the specific name of the theme, but it was basically archeology/ what LEGO made before they had the Indiana Jones license) so presumably it was probably a .38 knowing that the theme takes place around the 1920’s when King Tut’s tomb was discovered since .357 magnum didn’t exist until the mid 1930’s and 44 magnum didn’t exist until the mid 1950’s

@The Mandalorian To add to this, a .357 magnum revolver is arguably one of the most reliable and versatile handguns you can have, since it's capable of firing .38 special and .357 magnum rounds, which are relatively common and popular for reloading. .44 magnum has much more kick and is often much more rare and expensive. It would make sense why a bounty hunter like Jango would choose the .357 over the .44 if he were given the choice.

Sweza He probably connected it too tight to rotate. I have this one twice first time was back in Christmas 2002 from my parents and a few years later by relatives :D Never had problems with the rotation

I had the original grievous star fighter as well-wish I kept it too. I also had the 2006 B-Wing and the 2003 Obi Wan Jedi starfighter but I got rid of both but Now I regret it

I just got a classic Jango fett minifigure for a pretty good impassable deal in pretty good condition, and upon ferther inspection of having it in hand I noticed the black line running across the forehead was a solid line, not the 2 thin lines, and some blue on the top of the range finder. I spent some time trying to find other Jango Fett minifigures with this "misprint" but there where none to be found. I started to get a little worried thinking that I possibly got scammed. I then realized that there is a number "1" inside the stud of the helmet meaning that it was in fact an authentic Jango Fett helmet, as Boba's has a "2" on the inside. Sofar your Jango is the only one I can find that has the same printing as mine. I know the figure came out in 2002 and the printing can be off or cut off, but the solid line is something I've never really seen before.

If you look at Jango's costume from the movie, the fabric under his armour is kinda purple, which is what I think they were going for with the violet arms. It's also cool cos it's a rare colour
