I never had this one. I didn't like rebels until a few years ago. I hardly every wanted this one. But because this released in the last wave of what is to me and many people the final year of a GOLDEN era of Lego star wars, the nostalgia hits freakin' hard, man.

Walmart mis-advertised a sale on the phantom as the ghost - so some were able to buy the Ghost for the sale price of the phantom before Walmart corrected the ad

I can chock up a lot of the problems with the sets interior to the fact that they were getting a large Cornellian ship from a series that was not yet released and needed to get released in a window to catch any show hype at the beginning.

The razor crest might not be the most exciting star wars ship but its absolutely stunning. 30% off is a killer deal, im guessing the price is around 450$, insane deal. I own this set and I wish I wouldve bought it at 30% off. I just like sets that have a super sleek look to them 😅

Picked up the 2023 set minus minifigs for £89. I currently have Kanan, Ezra and Chopper. Will use ebay to get Hera and Sabine but the price for figs like Zeb and Thrawn are ridiculous. Theres a few places i can get KO versions of these two so think ill save myself a fortune there.

With the new Ghost out, do you think that the value of the original Ghost will go down? Also, does the Ghost on the Star Wars Rebels series have escape pods? I'm not trying to be nit picky because I do think its a great play feature. I thought those two side areas were for docking.

Don't like how the new Ghost doesn't have a printed cockpit when Ashoka's T-6 has one. Also don't like the inaccurate engine color on the newer Ghost. Besides those two things the new Ghost is just amazing even with my nostalgia for my old Ghost.

I got this set brand new when I liked the show (still do) so while I had some kind of future nostalgia for the set as I built it I just got more and more disappointed. I really hated this build. Not only is it inaccurate it’s play features are limited and kind of janky but also the whole set relies on some weak hinges. Grab it anywhere but the escape pods and this thing will get crushed in your hand. It only looks recognizably good from a distance. I’m so glad they remade this ship.
