I much prefer Grievous in TFA personally (mostly because the white color reminds me of the absolutely gorgeous version of the character in Clone Wars 2D, while the older one is based on the awful Dave Filoni’s TCW version

Ventress' design in force awakens was actually based on her appearance in the 2002 clone wars show not the 2008 version

love how the lego TFA game takes notice of the force wielder's lightsaber forms, a massive improvement over the lego clone wars. Dooku uses form 2, makashi, emphasizing thrusts, stabs and a fencing style. Anakin/Vader uses djem so which is why their swings are powerful and one handed. Maul uses Juyo. Palpatine also uses form 7 but his is more fast paced and very acrobatic, showing that he wants to speed blitz his opponents and cut them down before they have a chance to react. I have no idea why they had palpatine use a blaster in the lego clone wars, since he was still the sith lord darth sidious, and kept his lightsabers hidden in his robes and office

I just played tfa and thought the lightsaber combat sucked compared to the earlier games, I was actually more drawn to blasters as they were way funnier to play with, also the bomb upgrade was way too overpowered.
