Interesting to see that the line was A LOT shorter this year. Last year when I got there 15 mins before opening, the line was up to where PacSun was (which is like 4 or 5 stores away?). Although last year's Jan 1 releases were bangers compared to this year.

Hi guys. Happy New Year. I just happened to stumble across your channel and was like wow videos like this for legos do exist. I’m 61 years old and enjoy them. I live in Florida and the closest Lego store to me is in Legoland about 2 hours away. The Friends sets or Star Wars really don’t interest me. My son likes Star Wars. Myself? I like the Titanic but it’s pricy and my space in my home is limited to display something so big. I like the Creator camera and the Polaroid, watering can, and Technic cars. I’m still keeping on my want list the film projector camera, typewriter, and Stratocaster guitar w/amp. I just wish sets were a little cheaper since I’m retired on a fixed income. I do check Walmart when I go. Take care.

Happy New Year guys. I was able to find the Rocket's Warbird, small Creator 3 in 1 Dragon, the smaller space rover from City, and the Jurassic Park/World t-rex skull and footprint sets just last week/year before the new year. Ever since I saw your video on finding sets early in Walmart, I've been checking my local Walmarts as well, but they didn't have any, no matter how many times I checked. But I check my local Target once and I was able to find those 4 (Thank you Target, you're so much better). For the new year, I actually went to Lego's site to order a few more because one is a store exclusive, the other 2 I just wanted to be a guarantee of me getting them. The 3 I ordered are the Auspicious Dragon, Buildable Rocket figure, and Sora's tech mech from Ninjago. There are others I plan to get, but I wanted some to start with first.
