Well there's a bakery in Assembly Square and in the supermarket. I have vague plans for another one called Let Them Eat Cake. No way to scented candles though. I hate those stores as they make me sneeze!

I just recently subscribed and absolutely love your city. It dwarves the little town i made for myself. I have borrowed a few ideas like items in the supermarket. I binged the modular mall build and it is so much fun seeing all the details come to life. I do think that one thing i would change is possibly changing the employee entry to the noodle shop towards the side of the airport, and combine both of the monorail stations into one that is on the side of the noodle shop, with an entry to the mall and an entry to the airport. Possibly by a glass hallway going to the top floor of it. Though that might be a bit overkill. Keep up the creativity and can''t wait to see what's coming next!

Couldn't remember if you had completed the supermarket levels with the additional shops. Could always use a floor as a baby shop - lots of prams, buggies, and bottles for sale. Also my idea of a child running up the walls from the Vita Rush drink stall still needs adding 😂

Awesome updates! Ever considered to use the back standing hole only for building which are sliced in two (open backed). The front of the modulars deserve a more prominent view + the view or open backs can be quite nice.

All these updates are absolutely awesome! I almost forgot the supermarket even existed because of how hard it was to view, and the new spot makes it look like prime building of Brick Nottingham! And the amount of details compared to the Grand Emporium is not even funny. The effort was well worth it Robin! And all the other updates also look great, especially all the tiles that you added, it makes the city look so much more complete. Amazing video Robin!

I guess that one is more about diversity. Having monorail everywhere makes it quite dominant. That's also why I have it behind a lot of buildings!

I think you should switch the row of roads where the casino is at with the row of the buildings in front of it. So this way you don’t face the backside of the buildings seeing from the second standing hole. The details you put on the front of those buildings will be visible. And the tall buildings against the wall and door will act as your backdrop. So in summary seeing from the second standing hole, it is first the street/road, second comes the modular buildings like the casino and third are the tall buildings against the wall and door. This way it’s like a stairway from low to high. I think that feel more natural and open to you. Also the T-junction shall move 1 plate towards you and you need a new turn roadplate I’m afraid to be placed on the spot where the T-junction is at right now. Good luck. I hope you will look into my suggestion.

You should move a few taxis around some of the landmarks of your city, such as the fairground or the boutique hotel,etc.

For a scene suggestion, if you wanted to have spiderman in the city, you could have him stuck to the middle of the windmill with a web piece like he had miss shot his web. Despite the amount of work swapping the buildings was, it definitely looks better with the revision. The back side of the casino is much more attractive for the edge of the standing hole. For the string of brown buildings in line with the super market, I think it looks just fine as its an older part of the city where red brick or brown stone construction is more likely. For the empty spot near the airport, maybe a fountain would look good to give a splash of blue and something to stage minifig interactions around. We will have to brainstorm a bit for something for the space between the stairs and the airport fence. Having worked with cattle, having livestock slip out is pretty much sure to happen at some point. For the taxis, maybe have one with a minifig getting in with one group, and one pulling in or pulling away at the other? Would the trex guy fit to be looming behind the archeologist? I like the use of the pink flamingo studs. The monorail station by the airport looks like it could use a bit of life. Maybe a busker could be stationed there to perform in such a high traffic area?

The alley next to the grocery/ theatre when u said there was a robber there, i immediately thought about staging a scene from batman, with a small child (bruce wayne) and his well to do affluent parents Thomas and Martha Wayne. might be too dark for your city if you know how that ends for them, or might even just be a swing and amiss for your city entirely, but its what came to my mind

You can easily build a custom Lego Train with Train Coaches from all of your spare lego parts that you have in your collection which can be on the lego city train track. Robin, have you given any thought to submitting any of your designs to the newly launched Bricklink Designer Program? Perhaps their submissions are more lax on silly rules like piece count, etc.

I have considered it. The mall is still too big, there is a 4k piece limit, the Zeppelin train, dodgems and GBC use motors and the pieces you can use are strictly limited. There is a minimum count too and my pump wagon or cement wagon are under 400 pieces. A lot of my builds are modded or very specific to my needs. Difficult!
