🤔 It might look like a CVT because of the small step between gears, but each gear in this mechanism is fixed and increases by 3 mm in size. Unlike a true CVT, which provides a seamless range of gear ratios without fixed steps, this gearbox operates with distinct gear ratios, so it doesn’t function like a real CVT

@TechBuildLab it could function like a very smooth automatic i guess if you used a long worm beside the selector to make it change between gears
