Today we test some cool Lego mechanisms to see how much speed they can take before they explode. Thanks to the @BrickExperimentChannel for some of the ideas. Let me know what you want to see me test next.

this isnt testing the mechanisms durability, this is testing the durability of the mounting points

HEarken! You’re right!

Next you gotta try propellers. Build three or more weights (each one getting heavier) and see which propellers will blow it away. Cuz Lego has a ton of propellers.

That’s a great idea!

but air from those propellers isn’t strong enough to push a lego weight. if you are talking about a regular lego piece to a huge propeller, that would work.

@JOEDAJERBOA I mean props attached to brushless motor. I kinda think it can push Lego weight brick. Maybe it'll be on wheels with each ""car"" getting heavier or wheels stiffer.

1:22 most perfect example of valve float 😂

interesting concept but I think that the supporting structures could have been made more robust because those often seemed to fail before the mechanisms

I have an idea, what if you see how many Lego clutch gears it takes to overload the castle sidewinder motor.

When the U-Joint met its match on the third level, it sounded almost like an F1 car starting up, or an LMP class hybrid doing a smooth bump start of its main engine on the pit lane.

2:30 your universal joint is set up wrong, the central shaft shouldn’t have an offset, because if it does, it causes oscillation at the output.
@petrifiedhero96108 күн бұрын
Look up the definition of universal joint the reason it's there is so It can bend while maintaining an output. That is not possible with a solid axle, so please, for the love of God find something better to do,then tell a man he's using a universal joint wrong when he's using it as intended? How you think front wheel drive cars drive the wheel? Magic? Nope. Just a universal joint or a constant velocity joint.you can look under any bus and see a universal joint. It's there so you don't fuck up your drive shaft when your suspension compresses. The whole point of a universal joint is so you can have a driving shaft with an offset or always moving output area e.g. you rear wheels and whole rear drive shaft.

@@petrifiedhero9610the u-joint is actually set up wrong. The (bearing caps) or what you should call them should align with eachother. I just think you misunderstood the upper commen😊
@PCrailfan37906 күн бұрын
@@petrifiedhero9610what I meant by offset is the u shapes at the ends, the 90 degree offset is incorrect and causes ocellation.
