wish lego hired this guy to make the lego rover! Much more features and fun, probably better suspension too 😀
@COGintheMachine Жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yep, steering is a little bit better, but not considerably. But my suspension is locked in one position for stability.

I couldn’t agree more I actually am into robotics and machines I am building my own wooden cart based on the dimensions of a mobility scooter but with improved speed, design and acceleration with those improvements my own half scale car can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds in sport mode. I am still looking for a power system capable of delivering such power and capable of handling a 3 speed automatic transmission with overdrive also with a micro clutch that’s the same size as a mountain bike brake disk because being lightweight and compact can increase top speed and acceleration. As for the automatic lane recognition (know it is not going to be cheap but it will be so worth it once I have the time and money to do it) I will use similar cameras as what you’d find in a 4K resolution webcam. I want things to work perfectly and so far it has except for my car still needs a stereo system as of course it started out as just a piece of plywood but now after 4 to 5 years it has gained at least 150lbs of freaking weight and that’s with just the basic wooden exoskeleton, wooden, LED light bar and actual working headlights.

Sorry for the long reply but seriously I LOVE this type of thing along with making music, carpentry and even singing. My main hobby is making music as my bedroom is literally a full on music studio with two computers and instruments like guitars, a keyboard, and loads of other equipment like I am NOT joking at all. I don’t do anything like this for a living. I do this because I like doing it for the fun of it.
