I saw you have met the chroma key technology. I must say it is not easy to work with green screen...reflections, aretfacts and color distortions.... But you are brave one;) Good model and camera work!
@searme6 жыл бұрын
Well, I only gave it a try because I recently got a polarizing filter for my DSLR. I can't even imagine it without it, LEGO pieces are way too shiny.
@rm8brickgarage6 жыл бұрын
@@searme yes, "shiny" is exactly a big problem
@rm8brickgarage6 жыл бұрын
@@searme what is the connection between polarizing filter and chroma key?
@searme6 жыл бұрын
With polarizing filter on the camera's lens, the reflections on the LEGO pieces are mostly eliminated. So the green background almost doesn't reflect on the model.

Very nice loader ! the building and design is well done, especially the motorized integrated functions. But I have to say there is a problem on the lifting fork which have to be parrallel when the fork is raised, thanks to the parralelogram, which is not the cas here. There is not enough place to attached the beam correclty and create this function ?

@Sariel As i said on your facebook reveal about that JCB, you keep improving your skills. This fact amazes me at least as much as your models do. I'll have two questions thought if I may : 0:40 Green screen method, is it a trial, a training, or definitely a thing you plan on having in your future videos ? My opinion is I dont think it adds much to your work, and this one time was really, well "once you see it, cant be unseen". 2:00 I guessed the PF motors functions to be ** 1 m for driving mode switch, 1 m for.. light switch maybe ? ** (and also 2x servos for front + rear direction, 1x L for driving, 1 m for arm length, 1 m for arm slide to side which are mechanicaly justified) Now i have to ask why put such motor-driven switchs inboard, and not manual PF switchs on the remote ? Did you plan on having that remote plugged in and out often ? Or was it difficult enough to have 10 hoses not to add a few wires more to that already crowded plugs area on the side ? I already askd you a lot about that half radio / half connected remote choice and it keeps bothering me somehow.. And last thing, you didnt put the rear lights where they should be as shown at 0:35 : on the stabilizer rear side, instead you put on the fenders.. arguably more modern looking.

- the green screen is a fresh experiment enabled by my recent purchase of a polarizing filter for my camera's lens (reduces green screen's reflection on Lego pieces). I think the results are a long way from perfect, so I will probably only use it if I see some way to improve. - there's a full description of the model at my website, sariel.pl, that answers your functionality questions

What phenomenal lego craftmanship. Its also quite impressive the effort you take to conceal many of the components. I wonder, have you heard of lpepower products?
