LEGO Technic SUPER Demolition Crane -- 18 motors, Fully Remote Controlled

Watch it absolutely DESTROY a building!😎
18 power functions motors and 4 SBrick make this beast of a demolition crane fully remote controlled!
This MOC has been in my head for quite a while, because I just love destroying things.
So naturally, a LEGO technic super wrecking crane had to be build!
LEGO technic doesn't have many heavy parts so I used studded style lego weight blocks to make the wrecking ball.
It actually has quite some mass now, and it does a decent job at demolition work.
Besides the crane/wrecking ball it features a bulldozer scoop, a jackhammer and a crushing jaw!
All in al I'm quite pleased with this build, I wasn't sure at first since there's a lot of crane's out there and I wondered weather I could make this unique enough for my taste.
2019 might bring us new lego pf parts, but for now this will still quite well for an AFOL like me!

Inderdaad, erg cool. Dacht eerst mehhhh, maar eenmaal in actie. Die 4 stabilisatie uitschuiver, mooi dat t laatste stukje opklapt. Zijn sommige stukjes fast fwd? Viel me op day alles zo snel draait. Die sloopkogel, grijper en driller Jah daar worden de kids wild van. Ff wat bouwen en niets leuker om t dan zo kapot te maken of course. Lego zou gewoon al die bricks die je hebt in 1 set moeten doen. Kan er zoveel mee. Alhoewel...4Sbricks, 18 motors. Beetje aan de prijzige kant. Anyway tof om weer te zien!

@@onnoschippers ook dat stuk vanaf 3.00 minuten? Met die sloopkogel is duidelijk, maar t draaien van de kraan en uitschuiven ervan is ook versneld? Ziet er zo soepel/normaal uit. Maar gaat veel sneller dan een Lego kraan die ik heb 42082..

well, actually I thought of this and there's a solution for it. The crane can put down the cabin on the ground and then the crane can be remote controlled from the cabin. The video got to long so I decided to skip that function and frankly I thought it was fun to have him ride it like an attraction wahaha! Good spot though! few have mentioned this so far😜. Ultra Cool model, very well done indeed. Maybe better to have a sand box area for the model to drive on be better for the realistic look and help your tracks with less stress than a loose carpet. I would have placed the control cab on a short arm below the rotating crane unit so the cab could rotate around 360 degrees on it's own on a disk, So when the crane was bashing the building the crane cab stayed still facing the work area. saving that little cab driver from getting sick from waving back and forth with the crane arm as it was breaking up the building? Still amazing model.

Well, actually I desinged it so the operatirs boot could be set down so it can remotely operate the wrecking ball function. It's not in the video because it was getting to lengthy. 2 questions. How long did it take to build this awesome machine? Where do you buy the lego pieces? I guess you dont know in advance what pieces you are going to need. Well, I think it took about 3 weeks without filming and editing. I don't really buy new lego. Just parts if I think I can put them to good use. Then I work with what I have. Thanks for subscribing 😁 I won't let you down!

You're right, it's deliberate build unstable for a cool demo. If I had made it normally it wouldn't budge because lego doesn't make anything to make a heavy wreckingball.
