In this episode, I focus in the interior of the car but also add on to existing functions.
Other changes not mentioned in the video:
- I still plan to make this car lpe powered. Obviously the engine bay is completely full, so my plan is to make the seats removable and a i6 lpe engine can fit inside the passenger area instead. It will most likely bypass the transmission and connect straight to the center differential to minimize resistance within the system.
- The whole car was made slightly shorter in length as the dimensions of the front of the car and wheelbase were slightly too long compared to the real car.
- Previously the rear fenders were independent of the rear doors. With the shortening of the wheelbase, I was able include a portion of the rear fenders on the door itself. This is accurate to the real car.
- Several body panels of the car were incomplete last episode, I have filled in all of these and the body work is done.
- Front and rear differentials were replaced with the new yellow gears from the Daytona set. They are very strong and suit the size of the car well.
- I added a Power Function XL motor that can drive and move the car with the BuWizz. Due to the weight of the car, it cannot move very fast but as mentioned before, I still have plans to fit a inline 6 pneumatic engine inside the passenger area.
- Mirrors were rebuilt and are more accurate to the real car.
- Running boards were rebuilt to be more sturdy and colors were changed to fit in with the car better.
- In order to achieve the correct shape blending the angle of the hood with the sloping front of the car, I had to use part 2438. This piece only comes in yellow and dark bluish gray, so I had to paint the piece to match the light bluish gray color of the rest of the car.
It has yet again been over a year since the last episode. I find there is always something to improve upon and often delay making a progress video. If you are wondering, no I will not being using that intro again. I wanted to be consistent just for this video series but I honestly dislike it and you can see the border of the image.
As the car is nearing completion, this will likely be the last build episode. The next time you will see this car will be in the final showcase video.
Thank you for watching.

This is so cool! Most people just make a 1:8 scale super car, but we definitely need more 1:8 scale off-road SUVs like this one!

would be cool if you made a version that’s a bit bigger or just another vehicle that’s bigger and then try to fit a pneumatic engine inside of it

I still plan to fit a pneumatic engine in the car, it just won't be in the engine bay. The seats will be removable so the entire passenger area of the car will be avaliable for my inline 6 engine to fit inside. It would be cool though to see a lpe car with a scale engine!

I know the rest of the build is amazing, but the fact the seats are fully adjustable is an incredible level of detail.

if you would like to use the engines the scale will have to be bigger but your likely limited by the scale of the tires. when i ran into this issue I went to rc tires witch has more variety in larger sizes. witch allowed for a larger scale frame which allowed for the engines
