I'm legitimately curious now, what would the longest duplex locomotive frame that could be built to run on lego curves 2-6-6-2 , 2-8-8-2, would say a 2-10-0 be too long in itself? Possible experiment?

That is a great question. I think 2-10-0 is possible but a bit tricky to build.

@@bricksbuilds there was a technically experimental Russian locomotive that initially was 0-10-0 and designed by and for the Imperial Russian Empire, but later the Soviet Union did take order of some of the locomotives, it would gain a pair of guide wheels to stop derailments

I can build that but isn’t 4 bricks high a bit small? The battery box itself is 4 bricks high and the motor and the cables need also some room.
