A work of art! Set 21343. 2022.
Fits in nicely with Viking Ship and Fortress sets.
Although with all the Norse dragons flying around wood may not be best choice of village material!

This is one of the best Lego sets in recent memory, This should be the gold standard for all the vintage sets going forward, Great minifigs with great accessories, great prints (and only prints), great price to part / volume ratio. The only things I would have wanted more is a couple of extra minifigs and a small boat, if anything.

Thanks… tried with Brikmax but 2 lights didn’t work so returning and now ordering from light my bricks set! Stay tuned… I think one part is flicker!!

this set looks pretty nice, I would say for a decent price. one cool feature you did not mention is you can split each building. This is something I think it would be interesting for lego to set each parts separately, making several smaller viking sets and people could build their custom village. Plus using mocs for more customization I have this set since last november, but I did not yet opened the box... If you have a phone or a small wireless speaker you can try to play some medieval noise like noise from the blacksmith, noise from the street, maybe some drum, chicken noise, seagulls... and playing them randomly not in continuous...

I’ve seen MOCs online and definitely enlarging the village with additional buildings would be a great idea. I was thinking of doing a diorama with the Viking ships and Fortress and your idea of adding background “Viking” noises would bring it to life. This is an enjoyable set to build very little repetitive steps.

​@@vintagebricks some youtubers have uploaded videos about MOCs. They mostly fit well. About adding sound effects, I would like to find so tiny speakers and play some music and people partying (with a distant effect) that comes from within the chief hall. and for fun when the time to sleep come, why not play some snoring noise hehehe Also the day I'll build the set I already planed to transform the mine to a some kind of draugr/ancestror tomb, because my little sister gave me several minifigures last christmass and one of them is a soldier of the dead which I think would fit well. Another thing I might experiment is to create an infinite mirror effect inside the mine/tomb

Such great ideas…. I’ll check out the MOCs online… I do have a second unopened set I could try to create a Viking MOC tower! And never done sound but that seems perfect touch for the longhall.
