Actually, what Sauron said was "eye care." As in "I could really use some eye care for my red and irritated peeper." You have to be careful with the palantir; it always encourages you to draw the wrong conclusions from what you see.

Funny. I'm a huge fan of Sir Christopher Lee, and when he appeared in the first Hobbit film (despite stating in interviews that he would not play Saruman again), I was ecstatic... until Galadriel started telepathically talking over him. My inner voice screamed, "No! How dare you?! You do NOT talk over Christopher Lee! He's in his early nineties for Pete's sake! Any movie he makes from this point on could be his last! I feel awful saying that, but it's true." Saruman wasn't the only one getting disrespected. Don't get me wrong - Cate Blanchett has a wonderful voice too, but that's Sir Christopher friggin'-Lee, one of the greatest voices and most accomplished human beings to walk this earth. You do NOT talk over him! Great video, BrotherhoodWorkshop :)

Saruman always did resent the trust and confidence that Gandalf commanded from the Free Peoples. He was particularly annoyed when Cirdan the Shipwright gave Gandalf the Elven Ring of Fire. And all Sauron needed was a good optometrist 😂

I like to imagine these two complaining about Aule nonstop and Saruman being grateful that he can finally get Ages of grudges off his chest! (Until Saruman mentions accidentally spilling hot wax on Sauron's old workspace with everything just as he left it and Sauron goes quiet and says "...he didn't just throw away all my stuff?" Meanwhile in Valinor Yavanna brings Aule another rosemary plant, which stands for remembrance, for Saruman's workspace.)

The White Council - basically Gandalf and Galadriel doing whatever they want under the guise of having a council decide what to do, simply because A. Gandalf is more respected and B. Galadriel is Elrond's mother-in-law (look it up).
