LEGO Winter Village Mountian Project Started!

This LEGO ski hill is going to be a HUGE project! In this video, I try to sort out how I will construct this massive MOC... and it is sort of overwhelming. After a long day of scratching my head along with some trial and error, I figure it out!

Hey bricksie! Maybe instead of having a plain white wall you could have it open and there could be an ice cave inside. The tram could pass through this. I think that may look better and open up more stories. Great video though!

I remember hitting a double black diamond once and I was vastly unprepared for how intense it actually was. I had been snowboarding for about 5 years at that point and thought I could handle anything. I ended up bailing on an extremely steep part of the trail and dislocated my arm. 😂 Always respect the mountain!

I think cave wall kinda cross-section where tram is going on the curve tracks, would be awesome, heavy part consuming but truly awesome, with partial only wall and cool cave details inside with LED lights hmmm imagine that.

Amazing Bricksie!! I just realised there are the new Lego City and Friends sets which both have a whole lot of skiiing/winter stuff! Not sure if you have them yet - 60366, 41756, and 41760, all similar vibes and really cool sets! Could be a good source of minifigs etc as you mentioned at the end. Always enjoy seeing your crazy Lego antics at a level I can only dream of for now! 🙌

Bricksie! Suggestion of using foam board to build your mountain, just other like model railroading. It's light and cheap. You can also cut it to match the slope of that 48x48 base plate so it has more support. You can sculpt it and paint the inside of the tunnel to match. If you need more support for an overhang, add in a thin sheet of plywood for extra strength. Can't wait to see what you do!

When weight is on the wood, the upward bow will likely correct itself. Make sure it has supports underneath.

Screw in 2x2's to the bottom of the wood platform. If the 2x2's are straight it will help pull the platform closer to level

I feel like you should have Santa's mountain as you come down the stairs. Because you could have a mini story of Santa's elfs using the train. Also what happens if a ski person runs into a train track! It would be a sad day for the people of brickies winter village

Funny where I go skiing the colors stand for different thing we also have red we have blue red green and black and if it is higher than black it has a special name like black mamba funny that it is different in Europe

Love the idea for the massive ski slope I have been skiing since I was 2 and I am going To make a city to in January and is am going to try to build a winter area to! I also saw a great idea to make caves under the ski slope instead of the white panels! Keep up the good work!!!!!
