Considering the amount of convention models that go for the "big" look, I really appreciate how the rolling waves and mounting technique make the DD look *smaller*. A regular attendee might not be able to appreciate the difference between a DD, CA, or BB when it's just sitting on model stands, but this model has an intuitive scale that really helps sell the DD motif.

For museum ships there are a lot of them in the United States and I believe there’s one outside the United States. There’s USS Kidd DD 661, USS Cason Young DD 793, USS the Sullivans DD 537, USS Charrette DD 581 or in the Greek navy as Velos (D16). She’s a museumsship in Greece if you want to go see her. The rest of the destroyers are museum ships in the United States.
