The Gecko can fit. And thus, size is justified. Wow is this set beautiful! If it weren't so pricey, I'd be picking it up in heartbeats. It looks so cool!!

I have a lot of thoughts about this set, and instead of trying to properly format a paragraph or two about all of it, I'm just gonna do bulletpoints - I love that beatle print. My partner is a huge bug lover so I may try getting it for them. - This set reminds me of the unfortunate reason why, when a baseplate is included in a set, it's usually fully/mostly covered, that being the corners floating, I noticed it in the official pictures and it seems to be noticable in reviews of it as well. - It's strange that they didn't make this set try to fit the modular style but they did with the X-Mansion (I know it's to fit with other marvel modulars, but they really should've given it a larger front lawn) - I love the plants in this set! from the mushrooms you mentioned, to the cacti, to that GORGEOUS red tree in the front, the designer(s) did a great job - I'm a bit bummed to hear that lego will be stepping away from featuring their designers in the instructions, as that's an aspect I really love seeing and, if anything, I wish they'd include designer crediting in more sets! Like maybe at the front or back of the instructions just listing all that designed/helped in designing the set. Overall a good set, could've been smaller but it's not, whomp whomp

The gecko is back! Great vid, as always! In my opinion, the size of this building is just right. As a kid, I wouls always get frustrated at buildings that were small, I felt like still hungry or something alike. This one would be enough!

The variety of plant builds in this set is very cool. Part count notwithstanding though, it just doesn’t feel like a $300 set. Compared to the modular buildings or the Ninjago City line, it feels like there’s less going on. I wouldn’t change anything about the design-I just can’t see paying more than $200 for it.

The last modular I recall seeing below 200 dollars was the police station a few weeks before it retired, and I know that this is ideas, but it's the easiest comparison to make with other modulars. So it seems that Lego may be stepping away from cheaper modulara and, by extension, cheaper buildings in general.

Whoa - $60 is crazy! So you could buy SIX of those for less than the price of this? Imagine the Botanical Garden you could make with all those parts. 🤣 It looks like there's plenty of Rebrickable instructions available that will allow for a completely enclosed version with 2 or 3 sets - that's definitely the way to go if someone wants a garden in their city.

I may be in the minority but I thought it looks awesome next to the modular building at the beginning. Maybe placing it in your city by its lonesome wouldn't make it so obvious that there is not sidewalk etc. Like in a park if people build those, here in the great state of Ohio, most botanical gardens are in parks and not "in a city" per se.
