@@Monscent To me, those videos are the equivalent of pretending to be a noob in a video game, and then everyone is super excited when they realize they are seeing a pro player (well, everyone on their team is, and everyone against them not so much). I know in rocket league whenever we meet pro players or content creators in disguise its really wholesome and everyone has a good time. I can appreciate the thought that Magnus is trying to do something like that. It's a lot harder to do something like that in real life, but he tries and honestly I kind of enjoy them.

funny this should show up on the exact day that I - a 67 year old pleasantly plump GREAT Grandma with an artificial knee - spent my first day at in indoor rock climbing place! I made six attempts, all pretty good considering, although I never made it to the top of any route. My 240 pound son scampered up the walls like he'd been doing it forever - and it was his first time too! We bought a monthly membership and will be back at it next week - it IS much harder than it looks, but I am pretty proud of myself for even trying it

There’s a comment that says Magnus makes people really calm. I think it’s important to note that free soloing is probably more terrifying than skydiving. What I’m saying is Magnus has such good mental fortitude. That in a non anxiety inducing situation, like shooting a video with will, there far far from that mental limit that Magnus is used to being at. Therefore, he has an extremely calm demeanor compared to where he has to be at mentally, so much so that it rubs off on other people. It’s all a mental game people… shout out magnus

They are really common among strong climbers. In Czech Republic there is a competition where people do pinky pull-ups for reps or drink 1 liter of beer while holding a pinky pull up. Silvester Stallone once saw Wolfgang Güllich doing one finger pull ups. Because of this he wanted Wolfgang to do the climbing scenes for Cliffhanger. Wolfgang was back then undisputed the best climber in the world.

I've never heard of Will before, nor do I watch his type of content. I'm coming from more Magnus' side of youtube and climbing videos, but from watching both his and Will's collabs , I've got to say Will seems like a very genuine and funny guy.
