What happened in this scene wasn’t sexual tension. When a herbivore shoves their fingers into a carnivore’s mouth it’s considered disrespectful. Remember there are carnivores who are changing their ways, and then there come herbivores like Louis and Pina who don’t give a shit about the struggle they go through to control themselves, and say shit like “eat me”. Not trying to hate or be rude, but please try not to see these type of scenes as “sexual” or “romantic”. Beastars is way more complex than you think.

He’s had a new experience today: how to hate a herbivore. I applaud Legosi for his resistance. He’s willing to eat foods for a herbivore instead of an actual herbivore itself. This sure is one way to resist those carnivorous instincts. *SPOILERS* I know the sexual tension is everywhere... but part of me wonders if this is part of Pita's plot to find the carnivore who ate Tem. I can't quite recall, but I'm pretty sure this is before he walks in on Legosi's and Riz's conversation. He knows a carnivore ate Tem, wants to find out who it is and know it has to be a pretty big one if they ate a whole ass lamb, bones and all. So Legosi was probably one of his main targets and he acts the way he does to intentionally rile up the carnivores to see if they'll try and take a bite out of him. Testing and prodding their self control. The kid is egotistical, but he also has a pretty good brain and I think he joined the drama club with the express intention of solving the murder mystery. Also I'm a anime only fan, so if this was obvious/ spelled out in the manga, sorry.

Yes, this happened before Pina knew who was Tem's murderer. Pina was def curious about the case, as he is about carnivores nature in general, which is why he teases them when he joins the drama club (why was he so fixated on Legoshi specifically? Idk, maybe because of his reserved and shy "persona", and the fact that he had a scratch on his arm plus the reasons that you stated), i do think that he wanted to know about the identity of the culprit and/or simply wanted to tease Legoshi about it, by trying to provoque him. Basically, Pina probably both wanted to know about the case, AND, make fun of carnivores.
