I feel sorry for Bill. He clearly loves Els, and the look of disappointment/heartbreak when she runs off to see her boyfriend. I find Bill and Els relationship more interesting than Legosi and Haru.

1:33 From what I've seen this show doesn't really touch all that deeply on the bonds Animals can make, even cross Species. Their Society has a huge divide between Predator and Prey Species but Reality has proven Animals can make a distinction between Friend and Food, and since these people are Animals with higher intelligence and reasoning then the whole going berserk and eating each other thing shouldn't be nearly the problem it's portrayed as.

It's because the predator/prey relationship is allegorical. It's not based on real animal relationships. If it was, we'd see what you mentioned, along with the fact that all herbivores are also opportunist meat eaters.

RIGHT and ESPECIALLY considering the mouth movements for this show are literally animated based on the japanese voice actors original lines. the dub for this show is so good, jonah scott is half the reason i even started watching

Personally, I think this part of the story should set even further into the future where the Drama Club students are now adults and graduated. So we could have even more personal interactions with the members and Legoshi to see how everyone is doing, especially Bill with Legoshi and Louis. I always thought Bill and Legoshi always have a misunderstanding with each other since by Bill's words, "it's easy to live in the shadows like you [Legoshi]. But I want to live in the light." I would like to see if they do see each as just friends.

Jeez it’s like everyone is trying to forget his flaws that caused problems for himself and others… He drives Louis to suicide (doesn’t matter if it’s unintentional), broke Juno’s heart, ditched Jack without a word after he aided him, impulsively tries to fight 35 lions (and eventually), damn he’s a hypocrite and he keeps trying to act innocently for herbivores even though he’s bad at it. Worst yet he just tries to delude himself saying he has feelings for a rabbit which it’s clearly his instincts. Also when he does realize he takes responsibility or to eating meat to gain strength, it’s like he reverts back to square one as if he didn’t learn anything. U know I can understand his past is sad and all but then again there doesn’t even seem to have any development in him. Without people like Gouhin, Louis, Pina, etc. he’s just a pathetic wolf who’s pretty much bad at being good. U want to like someone that’s actions first words later kinda person, be my guest. But the wolf and rabbit are the reason this show is stupid. (no offense)

Jack's near attempt wasn't caused by just Legoshi, it was the overbearing struggle he felt being born a dog. Dogs in the beastars universe were genetically made from wolves. Dogs, from birth, are quite literally made to be 'The herbivore-carnivore' being altered to fit the perfect image for society. Being gentle, friendly, intelligent and happy. Even if its not by choice. Dogs are made like this because they want to operate the world. Jack doesn't want this future were he will eventually live in a society were Dog's are held high as supreme leaders, but by engineering he can't go against it. He doesn't have the will to. Now put this up against a character like legoshi, who's willing to destroy societal norms and his own instinct just for one person. Jack idolizes legoshi because of his freedom, his will at being able to break past something jack can't. Jack's suicide isn't solely because legoshi is distant, it's because he wants to feel anything other than what he's programmed to, even if it means he might die, he just wants to be free like his idol
