Sculpted by Jim Groman and produced by Webbhead Enterprises, here is the 1976 King Kong Poster Version kit, with a little customization, built and painted by me, LeGrandzilla! I heard a while back that the producer plans to reissue the kits again, they would need to be built and painted if that happens. Otherwise you might find a kit on the aftermarket if you are lucky.

Jon you are a friggin genius man. Gerrymandering the girl like that and she looks amazing. This kit, this image, is iconic and you did it perfect. Seeing this one takes me back to the first videos I found of yours, where I was so awestruck, it made my stomach hurt. Wonderful work.

By the way. That poster is a definite unique take on Kong, and one of the most audacious publicity props ever made. And more than once I read that described as a John Travolta hairdo!

The 1976 Kong is a masterpiece. Why is it so underrated?

Perhaps because it was compared to the 33 original and they changed things a bit too much? I think Rick Baker's Kong was pretty cool!

@@legrandzilla I agree. Rick Baker's Kong was very convincing and the ending was very sad and tragic. That's probably why I like the 1976 Kong so much. That and the amazing soundtrack! Btw good work on your model!

@@ronniecrider7508 I have the email and phone number of Terry Webb who produced the kit, but I don't think I can share that here or without his permission and I know they do not have any kits at the moment, he did say he may reissue it, if he does I am sure it will be advertised in a future issue of Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine.

Looks like you ripped it from the cover from Famous Monsters, amazing! shame about the noisy neighbours trying to kill each other at the beginning of the video, should of told them to shut up im trying make a video here ;)
