while to some people this might sound like just noise, to get this kind of "noises" so consistently and on point requires some true skill, not to mention the creativity to play instruments in such a non traditional way. respect to this band, one the best shows i've ever been to.

This just isnt for everybody, just like some people just dont get impressionist paintings. Really a bummer! But its unfair to blame them for it considering the pop music theyre served day in day out.

hhhnnnnghhh.......surely in 2023 we're passed the discussion of "what constitutes music versus noise?" Pop music has literally never been noisier so I can't imagine that's what puts people off of this... To speak to the second part of your comment though, what I imagine DOES put people off is "OH! A GUITAR BAND!? BUT WHERE'S THE RIFFS?

A couple of things to say. Firstly, this band is fucking awesome. I'm pretty sure it's the guitarist's band, as in he writes the music. The only other thing is, and...this is awkward...It's difficult to say without exposing people I know, but the lead singer has an alcohol issue. This is probably self-evident to most people who have followed this band...but...erm, please seek help. Your band is ace, your music is ace
@XxidiotXxBosses3 жыл бұрын
damn, how do you know he has this said issue?
@RalphLindsen3 жыл бұрын
@@XxidiotXxBosses It's not a secret the singer struggles. Multiple tours got cancelled because of mental issues. Unfortunately the sound of the band fits with his reality.
@yasiryamin95613 жыл бұрын
@@RalphLindsen true. this band strives through mental illness. even their music is considered about mental illness. they literally have a track of dara breathing heavily through his panic attack. for those who had watched them live are lucky. but at the same time the fans understood very well about their situation and if any shows were cancelled it would most likely end up like "really? its cancelled? oh shoot its okay. maybe next time theyll do it"

This type of music used to be way better in the 90's. All hese bands play the same drumbeat while the guitar makes lame noises. The birthday party and Bauhaus did this 100x better in the 80's
@francoisjoly76962 жыл бұрын
It was better before... bla bla bla... sorry but this is the kind of discourse I cannot stand. Comparing and judging all the time, Yes: the Birthday Party was intense, Bauhaus subtile, what about The Fall which is one of there "references" for people who like to compare to reassure themselves... anyways... forget it, they are different and fuckin' good in what they're doing... and ... AND... they are so fuckin' unique amongst the rock landscapes we have now.
