It was a random day for Lebanese Rap fans in 26 November 2013 (almost exactly 11 years ago) until this release happened. At the time, nobody knew that this feature will open the door for a rap alliance between the most iconic duo that our scene have today. It was the first time that those two Legends rapped together and it opened the door for a life of achievements and battles in the scene.
Nizar Zgheib was an already established rapper since 2010 with his debut with Chris Ostoura, Shabah and Joe Cham3oun and Anthony was a solo artist that started to rise quickly with each track hitting better than the one before, keep in mind that our rappers were very young and their levels were maturing Nizar was 17 years old and Anthony was 14!
The blooming talent was apparent for both rappers and the track was kind of a DISS TRACK on Basbous (who released a track called "Bsalle la A3de2e" which translates to I pray even for my enemies, and the teams were at enmity at the time; and this added to the track value and made it a hit despite the time and the low production power back then.
The fans loved the duo and their careers started to collide since they were both living in the same area and both recorded at the same studio (Bloodz Records - Amchit now known as Garage Studio)
The monumental track is definitely winning a spot in our archives for what it represents which is the birth of a strong alliance that has been safeguarded by honor and the love of their fans from this moment till today.
We aim to archive all the Lebanese Rap songs that contributed in the building of our local scene.
Enjoy and let us know in the comments what songs you would want us to upload next.
