Dr. Greg: I really appreciate your authenticity. That and respect and genuine curiousity/interest are surely the access key to the people (not "subjects") that you photograph. That is not a technique; it's a human quality. Truly validating and inspirational. I pre-ordered your book!

26:30 “I have never seen a picture like this.” I submit that you have - Tomoko Uemura in her Bath. Incredibly moving photographs by Dr Greg. Apply for a W. Eugene Smith grant, doctor. Your work, along with your demeanor and your intention, places you among the top humanistic photographers of all time, including Smith, H C-B, DDD, Koudelka, Salgado, and Nachtwey , in my view. Truly humbling to look at. It’s not about the photography, it’s so much deeper and transcendent.

I think an important piece to this is the level of tact this man has and hat can't really be taught. You can understand it but now everyone had this I have seen. It's important to work with your strengths, respect your own limitations yet be willing to challenge yourself and stretch boundaries with that self awareness .

This was very interesting, enjoyable and educational. Thanks. For me, the "elephant in the room" question that wasn't asked was "how do you handle the moral aspects of perhaps knowing of or having witnessed a crime or perhaps a confession to such etc?" That must be a very difficult line to walk when wearing both a stethoscope and a camera, trying to build and maintain trust etc. I guess the time may or will come when you would be called as witness... I'm looking forward to seeing the book

You photographed Malik with a firearm. Is there any concern this will be used as evidence against him? If he is a felon this in itself a felony.
