Great overview :). You only forgot to mention the std edition M-E 240 which was released in 2019 with anthracite body design. It has nearly all the functionality of the M 240 series and also came with 2 GB buffer similar to the M-P 240 and the M 10. Only 750 pieces of this entry-level M-E 240 were made ( likely with some remaining M 240 camera body parts while the M 10 was already produced). I am lucky to have one of them.

wow, i think i will get my first leica with used m8.2 with affordable price. are there any issues on m8.2 such as corrosion sensor in m9? or do you have more recommendation besides m8.2?

Hi! Thanks for your comment. I don't think there's a corrosion issue with the M8. That might be an M9 specific issue. What camera to get depends on what you shoot and your personal preference. What do you like about the M8.2?

@@NoctiGirl actually it was between m8/8.2, m9 series, or m240/p. Those lecias are okay for me considering the price as my first leica but i heard m9 has corrosion issue and m240s has pixel mapping issue. In my country, not easy to do service for leica so i avoid leica with issue. And CCD sensor on M8/8.2 is a plus point. If i get 8.2 more plus for the durability sapphire glass. does M8 LCD easy to scratch? Does the shutter long lasting?

have been using M8 for a year now x1.33 crop factor, poor LCD pixels (mine even has, Turtle's loading speed But imho the trait and quality of the image is indeed very unique among the Digital M series... It's an annoying woman, but also a good wife😂
