Congratulation! You are very lucky that you could start your film „life“ with a Leica M3. It is an iconic camera.

Thank you for sharing your experience with M3. What do you think about the Leica M2 compared to the M3 apart from it using 35mm lens?

I think the m2 is the better camera, the m3 is the first m. For me its like the grandpa of them all. I also like the m6 but my fav is still the m3 since is more of a classic. First one with the design. If I had a m2 tho and could trade it for an m3 I wouldnt know what to do 😅 hope that helps and thx for watching!!

I bought it second hand on a website in Germany called “ebay kleinanzeigen”. Pretty risky but it worked out just fine!:)
