Leica Q2 Monochrome vs M10 Monochrom - 28mm vs 35mm - Which to buy?

Great review… the mic on the GoPro was excellent, as for the images, the M10 seemed much crisper and less dull/grey.

Are you sure that both cameras didnt had a pre-set in terms of contrast, shadow and highlight? It seems to me that the Q2M is very dull and flat. Maybe your M10M had some contrast & highlight favored settings?

I think I shot in RAW, so the contrast etc is probably mainly because of my editing (post processing).

I’m wondering if you made any large format prints while using this camera. If so, how do the look compared to like a darkroom print?

I haven’t done any prints, I would expect outstanding results from both camera’s with few differences observable in prints.

Comparing the 28/1.7 Summilux on the Q2M with the APO 35/2 Summicron is not exactly apples to apples given the price of the latter. But it's what you had available so I get your reasoning. If you still have the loaner Q2M perhaps you could compare the two lenses' macro performance. That would be interesting for a future video. Cheers!
