Yass bro! Been using the Q2 for everything since I got it like almost a year ago. I shoot everything with it, portraits, weddings, videos ..you name it. And the best? Always lightweight 👍🏼

Q2 owner here. I’ve had mine for about 4 months now. Great video Andy.. yes, please do make more videos on the Q2. P.S. what have you found to be the best settings for nailing focus when recording video with the Q2??

I am new to cameras so I’m not sure if this is obvious, but since the lens only offers a digital crop, does this mean that you can crop to any focal length in between the 28, 35, 50, and 75mm?

It definitely does shoot timelapse you should check the menu again, you can choose intervalometer and you can even watch all the pictures from the interval back as a timelapse right in camera. I was considering the Q2 but then I went with the SL2 instead for the video features and the amazing L mount lenses.

really honest and straight to the point review. i was really looking into a video review. and realistically there are not many fixed lens options. especially the fuji x100v is unstabilized and therefore unusable for video

I clicked for the “specs”. There’s barely any talk of the video settings at all, here, but stretches out the video showing pretty pics, battery life, macro mode, a gimbal, the price tag that everyone talks about, remote option, etc etc. Nothing on MOV C4K , 4K, FHD, MP4. You know….. “specs”.

@@andyto This reply only tells us what we already know as it's in the camera menu. When shooting Slo-mo 120fps, do you need to double the shutter speed as close as possible as you would with a DSLR? I'd change the title of this video as it's not what people are searching for. This video has nothing to do with a dive into video.

You are incorrect about the time-lapse - you can do some very cool time lapses with the Q2. You can take you individual sequence of stills and then export them as a video file. Click here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZ7JpHWXo6tljpo
