Glad you enjoyed it. Premiership has some great teams and some really exciting games all season long

Welcome. There are much better games than this however. Make sure you catch the Six Nations next month :)

Loosehead Nicky Smith's having a good little season, Cameron Henderson has settled in well & Olly Cracknell has just been reliably solid in the backrow.

Slade's actually good @10.
@andrewp107521 сағат бұрын
Cracknell really putting his hand up to add to his Welsh cap tally. Unless he's being screwed by that ridiculous 25 cap rule.

Exeter need Slade at 10. They're a snoozefest of a team, he adds a bit of dynamism.

he's always been a really good 10, would love to see him play there for england as well

Harsh yellow both were going for the ball just a rugby collision maybe penalty to Leicester that’s it.
@stephenlaconteКүн бұрын
Exeter player had no chance of playing that ball, player in the air could have been hurt after having his legs taken out and losing body control on the way down. Minimum of a penalty, yellow because of degree of danger.
@Finn-ld5bmКүн бұрын
@ I’d disagree he was close to getting the ball

The Exeter player had no chance of getting the ball. Also looked like he hooked the Leicester players arm and pulled him down. He was lucky not to get red.

Reckless. Definitely a yellow

This is the issue with clearing the blockers. You’ll get incidents like this. He’s legitimately going for the ball. He’s slightly late and take the man out. So has to be yellow.

What these highlights don't show you is that this was a potentially great match almost spoiled by some third rate refereeing. The guy had to be corrected at least four times either by the TMO or by his touch judge. For the mid-air collision, which was a yellow card all day, the ref had to be pointed towards the big screen replay- he was going to give Exeter a scrum for a knock on! He soon changed his mind when he watched the screen. He had absolutely no idea what was happening in the scrums and allowed players to simply flop onto the ball at every opportunity. Very, very poor.

Can anyone explain how taking a guy in the air horizontal and then slamming into the ground as hard as you can is not a red card
@CTownsend-bw3ykКүн бұрын
Because rugby is a game of contact and accidents happen
@Macron87Күн бұрын
He was lucky not to get a red. Withstanding the fact he had no chance of winning the contest in the air, looked like he hooked the Leicester players arm.
@Brock-i7q12 сағат бұрын
Yellow card was rubbish Seeing this more and more Once a player leaves the ground, any contact is seen as foul play. The whole concept of rugby is to have the ball in contest as much as possible, this was two players fairly contesting a high ball.

Just watched the game, it’s weak compared to TOP14, too slow, very predictable, kick kick kick…
@louisc6117Күн бұрын
Don’t watch it again then
@Macron87Күн бұрын
You reckon the Premiership is a weak product, compared to the Top14? That’s utterly ridiculous. The Premiership is the most competitive and the best domestic competition there is.
@Macron87Күн бұрын
@@louisc6117doubt he watched it this time. If he did, he clearly doesn’t know anything about rugby. Premiership is bar far the much better product.

@@Macron87 agree, it’s great! Highly competitive and very attacking this season
@Welshman647Күн бұрын
@@Macron87with respect, it’s the least competitive. The URC is the most, followed by the top 14. However pls don’t think I’m giving the wrong idea I love the premiership, the premiership is still very competitive, but just slightly less than the others. It’s main problem tho is it’s just too short, you need more teams in it 12-14 at least
