have to say I agree, I think Marcus is a wizard and love watching him play, but every time I see Finn play, he has the control as well as some real flair stuff to add to it, and gets his back line purring.

Especially if Mitchell starts at 9. A halfback pairing like that playing together week in week out will be quality (as long as Borthwick allows them to play the way they want)

I respectfully disagree also as a Quin - Marcus Smith was one of the best things about England during ANS, they were leading in both the NZ and Australia games when he was playing at 10. Fin Smith is an excellent excellent prospect but I don’t see why Marcus Smith should be dropped when he’s been playing well for England and we haven’t seen yet how he plays alongside Mitchell

I really like Fin Smith but he’s unproven starting at international level for the Six Nations I would stick with M Smith to start with F Smith on the bench both are good players tho

For such a great game, it too bad to see the public whistling the kicker (Russell's penalty). Northampton is far from Perpignan or Toulon though and supposed to be better Rugby educated.
